De koepel van perceel VI uit de advertentie zal dan de koepel van de latere Koepelhof geworden zijn aan het Papeterspad.
Dat daar een koepel heeft gestaan, daar ben ik van overtuigd, maar dat het deze was, daar was ik nog niet zo zeker van. In de krant van 8-2-1874 (P4) staat een aankondiging van een openbare vrijwillige verkoping van "Een Buitenverblijf en Gevolgen", staande en gelegen op een der aangenaamste punten van Dordrecht, een vrolijk en ruim uitzigt hebbende, aan den Spuiweg, strekkende langs het Geldelooze Pad en den Tweeden Singel, tot aan het Pap-eters-pad, bevattende zeer ruim HEERENHUIS, 3 KOEPELS, TUINMANSWONING en zeer grooten TUIN, smaakvol aangelegd en voorzien van prachtig opgaand Geboomte‚ schoone Heester- en andere Gewassen, verschillende soorten van fijne Vruchtboomen, vele Broeibakken en Broeikast, ter grootte van 74 aren, 95 centiaren, uitmuntend geschikt voor BOUWGROND, — in 9 perceelen : " Ik zal me beperken tot de koepels: Perceel III: "Een perceel TUINGROND met ruimen KOEPEL, DRUIVEN- en BROEIKASTEN, naast vorig perceel, op den hoek van den Spuiweg en het Geldelooze Pad, groot 560 centiaren.
